The CCE-R Business Club in April took place at Siemens. The CCE-R members visited the company's HQ in Bucharest (Complex West Gate Park: 24, Preciziei Bld., Building H3), on April 2nd, at 19:00. 
 
What makes buildings more intelligent, safe and energy efficient? 
 
During the evening, the guests found answers to the above question and were guided through the following rooms with attractions:
“Movie Land”, “Speaker Corner”, “Technology Islands” and “Chat Room”.
 
The first room visited by the guests was the Movie Land, where Diana Stoica, Sales Director of the Building Technologies Division, invited the guests to a cinematic trip in the realm of Siemens’ answers to actual mega-trends with stops in two stations: “Siemens in Romania” and “The Sinteso solution for protection against fire”.
 
The next destination was the Speaker Corner, where Wolfgang Flandorfer, Siemens Romania CEO, presented the complex offer that Siemens provides locally in Romania. The guests were then invited to the Virtual City, a 3D application that offers a virtual trip throughout a city with buildings automated by Siemens Building Technologies.
 
The next stop was the Technology Islands, where the guests could meet every product range within the Siemens Building Technologies' portfolio. The CCE-R members met the BMS system implemented at Simea, Sibiu. Thus, from hundreds of kilometers away, they had the possibility to watch live how the temperature and the ventilation are controlled in the factory.
 
Due to many interesting discussions during the event, the Economy Room - the place that offers solutions for cost savings in buildings – was not visited anymore. For individual discussions related to the energy efficiency, please feel free to contact Siemens and the Chamber.
 
The Chat Room, the final destination of the guests, was the perfect place for networking.
