CCE-R Business Trip (October 3-5, 2008)

The Business Trip organized by the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland – Romania in 2008 included visits of three Swiss companies in Romania and members of the Chamber: the Holcim cement plant in Campulung, the Sika plant in Brasov and Chemission plant in Cugir.

The CCE-R members who took part in the trip were: Audiconsult, Chemission, Emporiki Bank, Holcim (Romania), Inner Consulting Group, Mattig Management Partners, Rominko, Siemens, Swisspor Romania.The Swiss Embassy and the Swiss Association were also represented in our group.

During these visits, the participants were impressed by the achievements of the hosts and discussed upon investments and business opportunities in the respective regions. Other Swiss investors in the Sibiu area came to meet the CCE-R members in Cugir. A short trip to the Corvins' Castle in Hunedoara has also been included in the programme.
