The 2007 CCE-R Christmas Party was hosted by Mica Elvetie Restaurant on December 12, 2007. The main attraction of the evening was the tombola organised for the gifts brought by all CCE-R members and guests. The funds raised in this way were donated to the children from the Christian Foundation St. Antim Ivireanul.
The evening started with a concert of Romanian and French carols beautifully performed by the children from the Christian Foundation St. Antim Ivireanul. Shortly afterwards, a few volunteers, led by Paul Nuber, General Manager of Nestlé Romania, started to sell tombola tickets. Eventually, a record number of over 300 tickets were sold to the participants who increased in this way their chances to win one of the special tombola gifts: Swiss watches, dinner and brunch vouchers to Mica Elvetie and InterContinental, unique Swiss chocolate boxes, surprise gifts etc. Due to our guests’generosity, in the end we were able to donate a consistent contribution to the St. Antim Ivireanul Foundation. We therefore seize this opportunity to thank all our members and guests for their kind participation to this party and for their generous support of our cause. Nonetheless, we are also grateful to Jakob and Crenguta Hausmann, our hosts at Mica Elvetie Restaurant, for the wonderful time we’ve had once again due to their care and concern.
