On February 22^nd, 2007, the General Assembly of the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland – Romania, took place at Nestlé Romania’s head-office, in 9-9A, Bd. Dimitrie Pompei, Bucharest, at 18:00. The event was organized by the Chamber with the kind help of Nestlé Romania, its member. We use this opportunity to thank again Mr. Paul Nuber, General Manager of Nestlé for hosting us.

19 members out of 54 were present. Paul Nuber, CCE-R President and Gentiana Avrigeanu, CCE-R Executive Director made a presentation during the meeting. The minutes of the Assembly were drawn-up by Dinu Drog, Attorney-at-Law, Nörr Stiefenhofer Lutz.

The members approved in unanimity the use of the budget for 2006 and the discharge of the Board. The net result was of EUR (4’121.35) and the closing balance of EUR 8’040.65.The auditor’s report was made and presented by Audiconsult SRL, CCE-R member, represented by Serge Gonvers, Managing Partner. The budget for 2007 is balanced and foresees a surplus of EUR 10’010.--.

Teaha Management Consulting SRL, CCE-R member, has been appointed as the new CCE-R auditor for 2007 based on the offer sent. The new accountant is Performa Management SRL, a company recommended by Mattig Management Partners RO, CCE-R member.

The General Assembly approved the new CCE-R Board for 2007 as follows:

Markus Wirth replaced Jörg K. Menzer,Nörr Stiefenhofer Lutz. We thank Dr. Menzer for his contribution in the Chamber’s Board during four years.

Markus Wirth was elected as the President of the Chamber in 2007.

After the Assembly, a cocktail was offered to the members and they had thus the possibility to network and to meet with new members.
