CCE-R General Assembly (March 17, 2008)

On March 17^th, 2008, Nestlé Romania hosted the General Assembly of the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland – Romania. The event was organized by the Chamber with the kind help of Nestlé Romania and we would like to use this opportunity to thank Mr. Paul Nuber, General Manager of Nestlé, for hosting us.

The Agenda of the Assembly included the following topics: Welcome, Annual Report, Financial Report, Auditor’s Report, Discharge of the Board, Activities 2007, Budget 2007, Election of the Board, Election of the President, Election of the Auditors, Various.

The meeting was attended by 22 members out of 67 and the minutes of the Assembly were drawn-up by Alexandra Chitac, Attorney-at-Law, Nörr Stiefenhofer Lutz.

Markus Wirth, CCE-R President, and Cristina Bucur, CCE-R Executive Director, welcomed the participants and outlined the main achievements and activities of the Chamber during 2007, as well as the activities, events and budget put forward for 2008.

The members unanimously approved the 2007 financial report and the discharge of the Board. The auditor’s report was drawn up and presented by Teaha Management Consulting SRL, CCE-R member, represented by Corneliu Teofil Teaha, Managing Partner.

The members approved the appointment of THI Audit Romania SRL as the new CCE-R auditor for 2008, based on the offer previously submitted to the Chamber. Mattig, Petrescu & Partners has been reconfirmed as the CCE-R accountant for 2008.

The General Assembly approved the new CCE-R Board for 2008 as follows:

Peter Bayard, Helvetica Profarm S.A.

Irina Bolomey, Fidexpert S.R. L.

NEW: Serge Gonvers, Audiconsult S.R.L.

Juerg Hasler, Swisspor S.A.

Dan Luca, BIOS International S.A.; BIOS Diagnostic S.R.L.

NEW: Catalin Mitroi, Geberit International Sales AG - Romania Branch

Markus Wirth, Holcim (Romania) S.A.

Mr. Serge Gonvers, Audiconsult SRL, and Mr. Catalin Mitroi, Geberit International Sales AG – Romania Branch, replaced Mr. Paul Nuber, Nestlé Romania, and Mr. Ovidiu Mantho, SGS Romania in the CCE-R Board. We would like to seize this opportunity and thank Mr. Nuber and Mr. Mantho for their contribution in the Chamber’s Board.

Mr. Markus Wirth, Holcim Romania, was re-elected President of the Chamber for 2008.

After the Assembly, the participants were invited to a cocktail offered by Nestlé Romania, where the CCE-R members could network and meet the representatives of the new companies who have recently announced their intention to join the Swiss Chamber.
