Edipresse A.S. is a joint venture between the international press group Edipresse, with branches in sixteen countries, based in Switzerland at Lausanne and Axel Springer AG, a multimedia international group, which activates in many European countries.

Edipresse started its expansion as an international press group in 1988, but its history starts in 1906, at Lausanne. Ever since, the company has continuously developed and today the group publishes more than 130 titles due to its branches in sixteen countries Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Mexico, Greece, Romania, Ukraine, Russia and Asia (China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Korea, Indonesia).
Axel Springer AG was founded in 1946 in Hamburg, Germany. Over the past years Axel Springer AG has developed into one of Europe\'s leading multimedia companies, with various activities in the print press segment (newspapers national and regional magazines, books), in the online services and telecommunications sectors, with investments in radio and television channels.
Edipresse A.S. publishes fourteen titles: the monthly women magazine Avantaje (since 1995), the Romanian edition of ELLE magazine (since 1997), the people magazine Viva! (since 1999), the monthly women magazine Olivia (since 1999), the monthly youth title Popcorn (since 1995), the entertainment magazines Povestea mea (since 1996) and Intamplari adevarate (since 1997), for interior design and decoration magazine DECOstyle (2003), the shopping magazine Look! (2003), the health magazine Sana (2004), the monthly youth title JOY (since 2004), the computer magazine Computer Bild (2005), the tourism magazine Vacanta ta perfecta (2005) and the practical magazine Lucru de mana (2005).
