Geri Müller, President of the Foreign Policy Commission of the Swiss Parliament, came to Bucharest

During October 28-31, 2009, Geri Müller, National Councilor and President of the Foreign Policy Commission of the Swiss Parliament, paid a private visit to Bucharest.
 
Mr. Ionel Sava, the Romanian Ambassador in Switzerland, proposed CCE-R to organize a meeting with Mr. Mueller and the representatives of the Swiss business in Romania. The meeting took place in Holcim's premises (169A, Calea Floreasca, Building B, 7th floor), on Friday, October 30 from 08:00 to 09:30.
 
The agenda of the meeting was:
1.  Development of CCE-R members' business in Romania since they started their activities here; opportunities, results, success, problems;
2.  Crisis: main problems, how to overcome the crisis, threats, expectations from the Romanian Government/ Authorities;
3.  Future of Swiss companies in Romania: how the members estimate the development of the economy, where do they see their companies during and after the crisis;
4 . Structural funds to be granted from Switzerland.
