The InterContinental Bucharest is a landmark of the Romanian capital, the first five-star hotel in the city, built in 1971 and still the highest hotel building in town. The InterContinental Bucharest set the capital’s five-star standards for many years after the opening.

The most unique attraction of the hotel is the breath-taking views, overlooking the city, in its very heart. The Imperial Suite is the only one in Bucharest equipped with a personal sauna and its own grand piano.
