A delegation of the Foreign Policy Commission of the Swiss Senate (“Ständerat”), led by its President, Mr. Philipp Stähelin, will officially visit Romania from October 29 to November 2. The delegation will meet with high representatives of the Romanian Parliament, the President of the Senate’s Foreign Policy Commission, Mr. Mircea Geoana, and H.E. Adrian Cioroianu, Foreign Minister of Romania. Furthermore, the delegation will visit projects of the SDC and of Seco in Iasi. They will also meet representatives of the Swiss community and of Swiss companies in Romania. All members of the CCE-R are invited to join the delegation for the inauguration of an exposition on the Neolithic in Romania on Tuesday, October 30, at 7:00 PM at the Muzeul National de Istoriei a României, Calea Victoriei 12. A cocktail will be offered by the Swiss Embassy.
