Swisspor – Swiss tradition and experience
Swisspor Group is a Swiss company with a tradition of over 50 years in insulation field. Swisspor Holding carries out his activities in 17 factories from 9 European countries, the group’s shares being completely owned by Bernhard and Georges Alpstäg.
This engagement on the European plan is the result of a very dynamic management structure ready to sustain the entrepreneurial initiative and to encourage the performance of its subsidiaries. The thrust, flexibility and the quality culture are part from the positive attitude which strengthened the direction of this exemplary route.
Swisspor Romania – looking continuously for new challenges
Swisspor Romania was established in 1999. Even if behind us there are years of multiple achievements, we are aware that we are only at the beginning. We know that we have to be an active factor on a developing market. With a turnover of over 21 mil Euro in 2006, Swisspor S.A. is actually one of the biggest suppliers of insulation products designated to constructions from the Romanian market.
Thermal insulation – our established competence on the Romanian market
The western standards are the common denominator of our offer as concern the expanded polystyrene: realigning to the quality exigencies of the European standard EN 13163, Swisspor is the first producer that impose this standard on the Romanian market. We will consequently apply our differentiation strategy, aiming to keep the position of No1.
Swisspor LambdaPor® - the Trendsetter
Production of Swisspor LambdaPor was launched in Ploiesti beginning 2007. LambdaPor is a new revolutionary type of polystyrene with a thermal conductivity improved with 20%. Swisspor is the first company who – based on Group experience in west European countries – produced such a material in Romania.
Bikutop® – launching of the hydro insulation professional products
Besides the traditional hydro insulation products, Swisspor Bikutop membranes represent the top of the solutions offered by Swisspor in hydro insulation. With this new assortment, our portfolio has extended with a new product, produced at western standards.
We didn’t realize just a product transfer from Switzerland to Romania, but we adapted them to the special requests of our market. Bikutop is produced in two assortments: the Standard range oriented to the distribution network and end user; and the Special range offering hi-tech solutions for the complex constructions projects.
Since this year a new product range – competence of Swisspor Group – complete the roofing range of products: the fibre – cement plates. We are sure the new product will successfully replace the non ecologic asbestos plates.
Swisspor – saving energy
We are continuously looking forward for new solutions in our range of competences: TERMO – FONO – HYDRO insulations will increase comfort and will save energy protecting the natural environment .
