Switzerland has accepted to grant 257 million CHF (163 de million EUR) to Romania and Bulgaria, within the frame of its participation to the EU enlargement, communicated the Swiss Government.

Swiss and EU negotiators agreed upon ways to bring the Swiss contribution to reality, declared the EU Integration Office of the Swiss Government, pointing out that 70% of the amount (115 million EUR) will go to Bucharest and the rest of 30% (48 million EUR) will go to Sofia. (Mediafax, 04/03/2008)
