01/02/2018 @ 10:00 - 01/02/2018 @ 13:00
Location: Swiss House, Bucharest
The General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") that is expected to create a high-level and uniform framework for data protection in the European Union will come into force on May 25, 2018.
In view of the high fines that amount to 4% of the global annual turnover for the preceding financial year or EUR 20 million, companies in EU are expected to meet their obligations by the time GDPR becomes applicable.
• How does GDPR impact companies within EU and outside EU?
• What are the main changes GDPR has in view?
• Do you process data that requires a Privacy Impact Assessment?
• Do you need to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO)?
• How can you prevent data breaches and fines?
• How to react in case of a data breach?
Join us on Thursday, February 1st, 2018, at the Swiss House (21, Plantelor, str.), at 10:00 to find out more about the new legal framework regulating data protection soon to be enforced and the steps to be taken in order to comply with GDPR. The seminar will be followed by a short networking lunch.
