Swiss Ambassador’s Message

Promoting our bilateral economic and trade relations is part of the top priorities of my tenure in Romania. In achieving this objective, the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Romania is our lead partner and has a key role to play. The premises for enhancing this cooperation are currently favorable and I am eager to do everything which is in my power to achieve this goal.

Since its creation the Chamber has become an important tribune for dialogue, a steadfast advocate for Swiss businesses, offering them a trusted platform for networking, information exchange and shared experience. The Chamber’s work to promote the interests of Swiss companies in Romania is important to their success and has been making an essential contribution towards promoting bilateral relations.

Many Swiss companies look at Romania with great interest and hope to discover its potential for innovation, renewable energies and technologies of the future, just to mention a few. Nevertheless it’s of a paramount importance that they find here a stable and predictable business environment. Here again the Chamber together with the Embassy can contribute a lot.
