Swiss Ambassador’s Message

Romania is currently the fastest-growing country of the European Union. Consequently it attracts attention of foreign investors and trading companies. The opportunities in Romania’s emerging economy of doing business are large and demands a careful preparation; the country remains the second poorest in the EU with challenging infrastructures. As the country plays full part in the EU development, its transformation is ongoing, such as the anti-corruption clampdown, but also changing policies.

In this context, the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Romania (CCER) plays an important advisory and networking role for new and established companies. I am pleased to affirm that CCER enjoys the support of the Embassy of Switzerland in Bucharest and collaborates with CCER on a number of initiatives.
