IT & Cybersecurity

The IT & Cybersecurity Working Group within our Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to addressing the rapidly evolving challenges of technology and cybersecurity in the business landscape. Comprising IT professionals, cybersecurity experts, and business leaders, this group collaborates to share best practices, develop strategies, and enhance the overall digital resilience of member organizations against cyber threats.

Objectives

  1. Promoting cybersecurity awareness: increase awareness of cybersecurity risks and best practices among members through educational initiatives, workshops, and training sessions tailored to various skill levels.

  2. Developing robust cybersecurity strategies: collaborate to create frameworks and guidelines that help member companies implement effective cybersecurity measures and respond to incidents swiftly.

  3. Facilitating technology adoption: share insights on emerging technologies and digital transformation trends that can enhance operational efficiency, competitiveness, and security for member organizations.

  4. Networking and Collaboration: create opportunities for members to connect and collaborate on IT and cybersecurity projects, sharing knowledge, experiences, and resources to strengthen community-wide defenses.

  5. Advocating for cybersecurity standards: promote the adoption of industry standards and compliance measures related to cybersecurity, helping members navigate regulatory requirements and enhance their overall security posture:

    Input for the Cybersecurity Trends magazine (RO - IT - EN)

    Increasing the awareness amongst children and parents regarding the danger hidden in the Internet (events in schools, the awareness day associated to the congress, Internet Stories magazine etc.)

    Training for employees to increase the security of personal and professional data in online and the protection against cyber-attacks of any kind.
 

The leaders of the group are:

DANIELA CHRZANOVSKI, founder Swiss WebAcademy (leader for cybersecurity)

Daniela led and developed the Romanian-Swiss Multimedia Institute, a project funded by the Swiss Confederation and the Republic and Canton of Jura. In 2012, she founded in Sibiu a new brand, Swiss WebAcademy (SWA), a professional association whose training activities in the latest web technologies are tightly focused on the needs of enterprises. Daniela is deeply involved in the series of cybersecurity congresses that came to the 8th edition this year. At CCE-R, Daniela is co-leading the IT & Cybersecurity Working Group.

MOE JAME, founder, Team Extension (leader for IT)

Moe is a Swiss Entrepreneur & Startup Founder currently leading Team Extension a nearshoring and offshoring technology company based in Bucharest. His company's mission is to hunt and hire the best talents in the technology field, wherever they are.
