With a history of over 50 years, Azomures is the most important producer of mineral fertilizers for agricultural use in Romania, supplying farmers with mineral Nitrogen (N) and complex NPK fertilizers.

Construction of the Tirgu Mures plants began in 1962, it was completed in several stages and it now covers an area of approximately 100 hectares in the south-western part of the city.
In the spring of 2012, the Azomures company became a member of Ameropa Holding, one of the world’s most important suppliers of grains and fertilizers.

In order to increase production capacity and, at the same time, to reduce, the impact on the environment, the new stockholder initiated, in the summer of 2012, the implementation of an investment plan to modernize the plant. The value of the investment exceeded 240 million euro.

We succeeded in producing and trading high-quality fertilizers in response to farmers’ needs. Azomures products contain all nutritious elements in different combinations and ratios, necessary for a favorable environment for richm high quality crops.
