Bucharest, September 12, 2023: ASEBUSS Business School has signed a collaboration agreement with Robinson College of Business from Georgia State University in Atlanta, with which it will organize the Executive MBA program in Romania starting in 2024. In the last 20 years, the ASEBUSS EMBA program has been offered in Romania in partnership with another university in Atlanta, Kennesaw State University, and the partnership between ASEBUSS and Kennesaw will end in the fall of 2024.
ASEBUSS' new partner, Robinson College of Business , is one of the three largest business schools in the southern United States and one of the ten largest business schools in the US, and its programs are attended by students from over 100 of countries.
"In the last 30 years, ASEBUSS has trained over 1,500 managers and entrepreneurs from Romania, and the American know-how gained through the exchange of experiences with professors and students from the USA has boosted the standardization of practices, procedures and processes in business and it led to the creation of a common language, which helped accelerate the growth of Romania's economy as a whole. Through the new agreement with Robinson College we will continue to improve the experiences offered to learners and become better every day. With a history of over 100 years, Robinson College of Business has a community of over 80,000 graduates", said Prof. Ovidiu Dîmbean -Creța, rector of ASEBUSS.
Previously, the EMBA ASEBUSS program was offered between 2003 and 2023 in partnership with Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, and between 1993 and 2003 the program was organized in partnership with the University of Washington in Seattle. The last batch of graduates of the EMBA organized in partnership with Kennesaw State University will complete their courses in the fall of 2024.
The new partnership between ASEBUSS and Robinson College was signed on September 5, 2023, in Atlanta, in the presence of Andrei Muraru, the Romanian ambassador to the United States of America, and Darius Gazinschi, the Romanian consul in Georgia .
The collaboration between the two business schools involves, among other things, the inclusion of teachers in international mobility programs (since they will hold courses in the two universities in their areas of specialization), experience exchange programs for Romanian and American students, the realization of programs of collaborative research or the organization of events of interest to both institutions.
"The great advantage brought by the exchange of experience between Romanian managers and American teachers and students is given by the fact that they complement each other when they work in a team and take from each other the best management practices. And the results so far of the first 30 years of managerial education in Romania have been spectacular. For example, if at the beginning of the 90s the Americans surpassed their Romanian colleagues in many areas, especially in the way they made business presentations, the discrepancies between them have moderated significantly, which contributed to a significant increase in the number of Romanian managers promoted to roles with regional or global impact", added Prof. Ovidiu Dîmbean -Creța, rector of ASEBUSS.
Currently, ASEBUSS Business School offers two management education programs in Romania: Executive MBA ASEBUSS in partnership with Robinson College of Georgia State University in Atlanta and Entrepreneurial MBA ASEBUSS offered in partnership with Washburn University in Topeka , Kansas. The first ASEBUSS Executive MBA program was organized in 1993, and the ASEBUSS Entrepreneurial MBA program started in 2013.
