Meet the 70 Smiles of Bucharest

Our partner, Swiss Ecodent Klinik, has created a campaign which aims to inform all the Romanians about the importance of smiling. The campaign’s purpose was to invite people from Bucharest to take pictures in two ways: smiling and while pretending to be sad.

The campaign was implemented in Bucharest with the support of the well-known photographer Cristian Manta, founder of the project “174 Reasons to Smile”. Cristian took a trip on the streets of Bucharest and invited 70 people to attend this project.

The results were amazing:

• 70 people aged between 22 and 85 years accepted to join the campaign
• 30 people claimed they have never noticed changes that occurred on their face
• 10 people needed more time to prepare for the sad posture of the photo
• 20 people claimed to smile more often in the future

The smile stimulates the brain to produce endorphin, which reduces pain and gives a feeling of good mood. The smile releases stress, relieves conflicts, improves relationships and increases self-confidence. You need 0.01 seconds to smile and feel the effects yourself

About Swiss Ecodent Klinik

Swiss Ecodent is a dental clinic founded in 2011 by Christian Marmandiu, the specialized dentist
and entrepreneur, who owned private clinics in Germany and Switzerland until 2001 and 2016
